Hepsia's File Manager section enables you to handle your website files with simple point-and-click movements. Right-click shortcut menus offer fast access to different file management options, whereas handy drag & drop functionality will enable you to upload new files from your personal computer in an instant. You will also find integrated file editors and an image viewer. You will be able to archive and uncompress files with ease too.
Fast File Uploads and Downloads
Working with the File Manager feels like working with your desktop computer. The built-in drag-and-drop functionality will permit you to easily move files between your desktop PC and the web server. Just select the file that you wish to upload from your PC and then drag it to your browser. The same goes for downloading a file from the File Manager to your desktop. Furthermore, you can download files and even folders to your desktop PC by pushing the Download button.
Easy File Editing Options
With the File Manager, you can create a new file or folder with only one single mouse click. All action buttons are handily placed above the file/folder list and you can update your files easily. You can rename or copy a file, move a file to another folder, examine the contents of a file or modify its permissions, erase a file, etc.
Handy Archive/Unarchive Functionality
With the File Manager GUI, you will be able to zip and extract all types of files. It does work surprisingly fast - simply select the files you want to zip and push the Compress button. You can even select the archive type (.rar, .zip, etc.). It is just as easy to extract files from an archive to a chosen directory.
File Editors
With the File Manager GUI, you really do not need any third-party pieces of software in order to edit your files. There is an image viewer, which enables you to explore the contents of your image files to get a clue about how the images will actually show up on the web. What's more, you will find a set of integrated file editors, which will give you complete authority over your files. The plain text editor and the code editor are designed for more proficient individuals, while the WYSIWYG editor (where you can see all code changes in real time) is also suitable for technically inexperienced individuals.
